In the past, each time the forestry department organized tree information collection activities, it was through sending a large number of staff to the site to measure and record the tree information artificially, and then summarize the information for judgment and analysis. Although this method can also obtain corresponding information, it undoubtedly has the following major disadvantages:

2)The whole cycle takes a long time due to the need for manual measurement on site
3)It is difficult for some people in the mountains and forests to arrive, and data acquisition is difficult
4)There are great potential safety hazards when people come to the site for measurement
5)The data collection interval is long, and data can be obtained only once every five years
In order to adapt to the development of the times and solve the problems encountered in the actual process, our company customized and developed a set of intelligent, simple and highly reliable tree diameter information collection system. The whole system is mainly composed of three parts: tree diameter sensor, convergence and forwarding equipment, and data center. Tree diameter sensor: It is mainly used to measure the tree diameter information of trees regularly every day and send the tree diameter data to the convergence and forwarding equipment Convergence and forwarding equipment: collect the data of up to 50 tree diameter sensors around, and then transmit the data back to the data center through 4G network or Beidou communication system Data center: collect the tree diameter data returned from various places and provide it to the administrator for query after analysis and processing The tree diameter sensor integrates a spring-type measuring caliper. The measuring caliper is fixed around the tree, which can measure the circumference of the tree and fix the tree diameter sensor itself. The tree diameter sensor wakes up the system at a fixed time every day through a timer, measures the tree diameter information, and then connects the aggregation and forwarding device to send the data to the aggregation and forwarding device. After the data is sent, the sensor enters the sleep state again. The converging and forwarding equipment is usually installed at the center of the tree diameter sensor of a monitoring point, which is convenient for radiating the tree diameter sensor of the whole monitoring point. The convergence and forwarding device will be waked up in advance to receive the data sent by the sensor before the tree diameter sensor wakes up every day, and will forward it to the data center one by one, and will enter the sleep state again after the timer expires. The data center is usually deployed in the operator hosting room or the data center established by the user organization. The data center stores the data after receiving the tree diameter information every day, and users can analyze and query the data through the query system.
